This is a handmade Manuscript, written and illuminated on Parchment by Shemtov Benshlomo, Inks, gouache and gold-leafing were used. The Manuscript illustrates "Chapter 119" of Tehilim (Psalms).This Chapter, at 176 verses, is the longest in the book of Psalms, and in the Tanach. It has 22 sections of eight verses, each starting with one letter of the Hebrew Alphabet. The idea of this manuscript was to write each section of 8 verses on the left side of the book, and adjacent to it a fully illuminated page with a decorative initial letter and a Magen Daviv (David Star) with that same letter hidden in the branches. This manuscript is unique in its kind, never been printed or reproduced. fully 46 illuminated pages and bound by the artist.
